How it works
Framing
We agree on the scope, the pages that actually matter, the priority queries and the data available.
Technical and editorial analysis
Indexability, internal linking, orphan pages, cannibalization, search intent, trust signals. The cheapest fixes come first.
GEO and AI reading
An exploratory test on 10 to 20 real questions: is your brand mentioned, which competitors are, which sources are cited, and what your content lacks to become quotable.
Prioritization
Every action gets an impact and effort estimate and a slot in the calendar. What you will not do is as explicit as what you will.
Debrief
A 60 to 90 minute session to walk through the plan, answer internal objections and decide what starts within 30 days.
If your question is narrower than this full diagnostic, look at my SEO services à la carte instead: a targeted audit sometimes answers it in three days.
The problem is not producing more
Many companies react to poor visibility by publishing more. It is the most expensive and least effective response, because it adds content to a system that cannot surface it yet.
Before writing one more line, three questions decide everything: are your current pages even crawlable and indexed, do they receive internal links from your own pages, and do they answer the intent Google rewards on the target query.
In most of the sites I take over, the answer to at least one of those three is no.
If these notions feel abstract, the understanding SEO page explains where they come from and why they matter, without assuming you already know the trade vocabulary.
What AI assisted search changes
Generative engines do not cite a page, they cite a passage. A passage that keeps its meaning out of context, names entities explicitly, and gives figures with their source.
This does not replace classic search optimization, it adds to it. The same signals, clarity, evidence, identifiable authors, structure, serve both.
I know the word GEO makes part of the industry roll its eyes, and I understand why: we have all watched plenty of acronyms get sold as revolutions. I keep it because it names something real, not because it looks modern on a sales page.
The GEO part of this diagnostic is exploratory and stated as such: it identifies the gaps, it does not promise a citation.
What you will know at the end
Which pages to optimize first, which content to create, which to recycle, which data to track, which topics have the most potential, which actions to launch in the next 30 days, and above all what to postpone so you stop spreading yourself thin.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a full SEO diagnostic cost?
The diagnostic starts at 4,500 CAD, for a target price of 5,500 CAD depending on scope. A multi site, multilingual scope or one with deeper competitive analysis sits between 7,500 and 9,500 CAD. Payment is split in two, 50% at the start and 50% before the debrief.
What is GEO and why include it?
GEO refers to optimizing for AI assisted search engines, which quote blocks of text that keep their meaning out of context. Honest caveat: a fair share of the SEO industry considers GEO an acronym invented to sell consulting, and that criticism is not entirely undeserved. What I do observe is that these engines quote passages rather than pages, and that content keeping its meaning out of context is what gets picked up. Whether we call that GEO or simply good editorial work does not change the actual job. I promise no appearance in any AI answer.
Do you need access to my Search Console?
It is not mandatory but strongly recommended. Without Search Console, analysing the queries already close to the podium, which is the fastest source of gains, becomes impossible. Read only access or an export is enough.
Is YouTube included?
Yes, as a recommendation track if your market suits it: topics, angles, pre scripts, titles, descriptions and recycling paths. Video production itself, shooting and editing included, is not part of the scope.
What if my real problem is measurement, not visibility?
It happens, and I say so when I see it. If your data is wrong, prioritizing content from that data is navigating with a broken compass. In that case I point you to the GA4 and GTM tracking rebuild before this diagnostic, not after.
