Cookie settings

In short

This site runs without advertising cookies or third party behavioural trackers. Only cookies strictly necessary to the site and, where applicable, aggregated audience measurement may be set.

A cookie is a small file placed on your device by a website you visit. It can store a preference or measure how a page is used.

What this site measures, and on what terms

No measurement cookie is dropped without your explicit agreement. The panel below shows the exact state right now, and lets you change it.

Audience measurement runs through Google Tag Manager, which fires Google Analytics along with a few key events: a contact request sent, a click on a service link, a newsletter sign up. The aim is to know which pages genuinely help, not to follow you from site to site.

No advertising cookie is dropped and no data is sold.

Three guarantees, all verifiable

No measurement tool loads before your agreement. Measurement scripts are not merely disabled, they are not downloaded. You can check it yourself: open your browser Network tab, no request goes to googletagmanager.com until you have accepted.

Refusing is as easy as accepting. Two buttons of the same size, on the same row, no pre ticked box.

You change your mind whenever you want, from the panel below. Your choice is kept for six months, then the question is asked again. That is the duration the French data protection authority recommends, for consent as well as refusal.

The categories

Strictly necessary. Limited to remembering your cookie choice. Without them the site could not retain your decision and would ask again on every page. They need no consent.

Audience measurement. Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics, with IP anonymisation.

Marketing. Nothing is active in this category today. It exists so that the day it is used, you do not discover a new box with no explanation.

One exception: the contact form

The contact form is protected against bots by Cloudflare Turnstile, which does not load with the page: it only starts when you begin filling in the form. It does not depend on your answer to the banner, because it is not used to measure audience: it checks that a message comes from a person rather than a spam program. It is only present on the contact page, nowhere else on the site.

What I found when testing my own page, on 12 October 2026, on a first visit in a Chrome private window. As long as you only read the page, no request goes to Cloudflare and nothing is written to the browser. As soon as you start filling in the form, Turnstile loads and writes one technical entry to the browser’s local storage, named cf.turnstile.u, tied to the challenges.cloudflare.com domain. Chrome partitions it to this site: it cannot be read from another one. It does not, however, set any cookie: I checked that no response, from this site or from Cloudflare, asks for one to be set, and not merely that no cookie shows up, since private browsing blocks third party cookies anyway.

To run its check, Cloudflare receives your IP address and technical characteristics of your browser. According to Cloudflare, these signals are used to tell humans from bots, not to identify or profile people. How this data is processed is described in the privacy policy.

Going further

How your personal data is processed is described in the privacy policy. For any question, use the contact form.

If you would rather run this check on your own site than on mine, I publish two free tools: the Chrome extension Cookie Audit, which shows what a site places before consent, and the WordPress plugin Clear Cookie, which performs the prior blocking described above.

Change my preferences

Your choices apply immediately, with no reload. They are kept for six months in your browser, then the question is asked again.

Strictly necessary

Remembering your cookie choice, and security. Without them the site cannot retain your decision, so they need no consent.

Always on

Audience measurement

Page views, journeys and key events, through Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics. Used to know which content genuinely helps. No data sold, no advertising profile.

Marketing

Advertising campaign measurement. No tool in this category is active today: the category exists to stay honest the day it is used.

The record kept about you

Here is everything stored on your device about your consent. Nothing is sent to a server, and this record disappears if you clear your browser data.
